Love this place! Has never failed to provide the best burgers around the area. A special thank you to the cashier that was working working today (Monday, June 3rd @1pm), she was beyond any expectations and provided me and my family excellent service! We always order takeout and have also never had any issues, price is good for how filling the burgers are! Awesome:)

Really good chicken and burgers. Definitely gourmet as opposed to fast food quality. Decent size too. And the best part is the 30 toppings you can put on the burger. Little bit pricier than normal fast food but better quality and quantity. Well worth the extra .

I always eat the halal burger at this restaurant and I find it remarkably delicious . Besides the amazing customer service that comes with it. Love the fact that you can choose what comes on the burger and the multigrain burger bun option. Love their onion rings as well. Highly recommended.

I really value the warmth and consistency of South St. Burger on 130th Ave SE, as it is always going above and beyond for the regulars who stop by. It is my top choice for burgers and fries in the south - yes, pun intended. The general atmosphere of the space is organized and inviting, and there are always good vibes to be had. Above all else, whenever I go here I feel invited, safe and comfortable, and I frequently see others sitting down to dine in whenever I visit. Along with this, the burgers are grilled nicely to taste and they are prepared right in front of you. On a more personal note, there is a tangible nostalgic feel to all of these different aspects of the store, and it makes the experience that much more delightful. Highly encourage others to visit this location!

Burger was great and big portions. Kids under 12 get free icecream! Almost 2 scoops ! Waffle fries portion was amazing too. Kids enjoyed with the cajan seasoning on every table. Hand sanitizer available at front door.

I like this place. They have fresh ingredients and friendly staff. They even sell beer if you like drinking. They offer white or brown buns. When there is no pLandemic, they have a really big area for dining in. The quality is much better than a lot of places in Calgary and they make really awesome milkshakes. I have not tried their fries so I am unsure about those. Try them out! You will be happy you did and your tastebuds too.

Literally the best spot for burgers in Calgary South. The staff especially the person in glasses, kind of short was very nice and hospitable and probably the best fast food staff I have seen.

Edit: I hate to lower my rating, but unfortunately this location changed hands over the winter, and it’s just ok now. Service isn’t the same, the topping choices aren’t as clear (yes, there still is pineapple if I ask), and on my last order the cheese wasn’t even soft let alone melting as you’d expect if it was put on a hot beef patty. I used to really enjoy my experience there - now I’m ready to try somewhere else if I need a quick meal. ************** Best made to order burgers, and best gluten free burger buns in Calgary. Service is always friendly and fast, ingredients always fresh, and care is taken to ensure I don’t get anything with gluten. My last online order I ordered a halal patty, not realizing the South St Burger halal patty *isn’t* gluten free. When I picked it up, they let me know, and made another burger from scratch with no complaint, only great customer care. I was impressed (and grateful!). And then I thoroughly enjoyed a truly well made burger!
